Summer brief - Interviewing tattoo artists

Email.

Hello :)

I am a university student at Leeds College of Art.

Im doing a research brief on Tattoo design, looking into music influencing tattoo design.

As my research must be first hand information & opinions, I was just wandering if you would please take a little of your time to answer a few short questions for me.

I have made a little survey on a website called ‘survey monkey’ & ill place the link below…

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N3YNNSD

Thank you for your time,

It will help a lot.

Jamie.

Survey monkey questions.

1. What is your full name?

2. Are you male or female?

3. Are you a tattoo artist or work in a tattoo shop. If so... what is the name?

4. What is your age?

5. How would you describe the relationship between tattoos & music?

6. It would seem that music has a big influence on the tattoos people get. In you're opinion, why is this?

7. Have you noticed common styles of tattoo people would get if they like a certain genre of music?

8. Do you think musicians with tattoos influence fans to get similar tattoos?

9. Do you think musicians with tattoos influence fans to get any tattoos in general?

10. Thank you for completing my survey. It will help a lot. Is there anything else you think would help me in my research topic? (Tattoos & music)

Tattoo Design > Graphic Design
A tattoo studio Bergge Tattoo asks their job applicants to fill in a QR code before even giving them the application form. That way the newly opened studio in Istanbul, Turkey, make sure no shaky hands make it past the bar! This great idea was developed by the BÜRO advertising agency in Istanbul and launched in December, 2012.
